25 Dec 07 Happy Christmas

Snoopy It was indeed a happy Christmas for me. I felt warm wishes from my relatives both from my mom and dad's side.

Yesterday (Christmas Eve), I was with my parents at Lola Luz' birthday party at their Bocaue residence. My relatives there are so joyful and energetic!

Today, dad's family came over to our Antipolo house to celebrate Christmas day. They had a nice time, too!

Happy Birthday Jesus!

22 Dec 07 2nd Clinic Visit

UltzMom and dad visited Dr. Villanueva today as their 2nd clinic appointment. Mom and I need to be checked whether everything is doing fine.

The doctor initially examined me by using a small doppler ultrasound device in order to locate my heart tone. She found it quickly and was surprised by how loud my heartbeat is registering in the machine. She said my heartbeat was too loud for my age. Ugh. I really tried my best to be heard!

Mom was then subjected to a hepatitis screening test where a sample of her blood was taken. In a few minutes, the result came out as negative. Whew!

The last test was an ultrasound with the big screen. The Radiology doctor saw some small bleeds from inside and that the placenta was low-lying. This sounded serious to my parents so they immediately brought the result to Dra. Villanueva, who then suggested to mom that she gets a month rest from work.

Whoa! I think mom and I really need a lot of rest for me to be able to survive. I'm feeling sad that mom has to really make some extra effort in order for me to be healthy. I need all your prayers...

20 Dec 07 My Room

21122007 Hi everyone! I just want to share how my future room looks like. Dad cleaned this room for me today. He is preparing this room for my arrival. Oh, I just love the toys at the bottom of the bed.

But hey dad, don't you think I will need a crib first?

13 Dec 07 Mom's sick again!

Husbandrole_2 Mom was absent again from work today. She was feeling nauseous the whole day. Is it because of me again?? I think mom also got tired from last night's company Christmas Party held at Jade Palace. Good thing dad was around today to take care of my mom. Love you both.

Get well, mom!

11 Dec 07 Update

8th_week Hi everybody! I just want to give you an update on how well I am doing here. I have grown some more now. I’m about 8 weeks today. I have already completed 1/5th of my stay here ‘til my birthday!

I’m about half an inch long and weighs approximately 0.04 ounce. I’m a tiny person protected by an amniotic sac, filled with fluid. Inside this sac, I swim and dance gracefully. My cartilages and bones begin to form. My arms and legs have lengthened and fingers can be seen. My toes will develop in the next few days. My tongue begins to develop, too. Oh, I just can’t wait to start some real talking!!

06 Dec 2007 Mom's sick!

Ambaby052004 Mom has been sick since the other night. She has actually not come to work since yesterday. Today is the second day that she's absent. She's having some fever and she feels nauseaous. Are all these because of me? Sorry mom if I make you feel unwell. I promise to behave here more. Just eat plenty of nice food for me, okay? Hihi.

Good thing mom has a personal nurse to attend to her - whoelse but my dada!!! Dad is a real nurse and he can take good care of both mom and me. The beef sopas you cooked was really good, and the sinigang was great! Thanks, dada!! Oh, I thought you're a nurse... you're a cook as well?! Ugh, anyways, please do take care of mom. I promise to help take care of her when I come out from here...

Get well mom! Good work dad! Love you both!

03 Dec 2007 Couple Shower Party

Mike_nancy Ei! Another party for me! I went with mama and dada to Tito Mike and Tita Nancy's couple shower party. It's a bridal and stag party combined! Isn't that cool?! It was sort of a surprise party for Tito Mike because he thought that the party was only intended for Tita Nancy. He never knew it was for both of them! Tita Filma was the event's excellent coordinator and host.

They are actually getting married this coming Sunday, December 9. Whew, a lot of weddings this year, eh?! And that includes my parents'. 2007 is indeed a special year.

The party was held at Jade Palace in Pasig City. There were games for singles and couples. The food was excellent. I think I'm starting to get a taste of great food on planet earth!

30 Nov 2007 Caleruega & Picnic Grove

Mom_and_dad_1 This is my first time to attend a wedding! This is for Tito Marvin and Tita Leah.

Mom was really pretty in her green and purple gown, while dad was so handsome in his brown sleeves. I have very cool parents, eh?!!

The wedding was held at the Caleruega Church, a small chapel located on a hillside, with a breath-taking view of nature outside. I heard that lots of wedding are held here because of the solemnity of the place.Calaruega_3

The reception was held at Josephine's Restaurant. The food was really great. I ate what mom ate, by the way... hehe.

After that, Mom and dad headed to Picnic Grove with some of their friends. The view of Taal Lake, with the small volcano in the middle, was majestic from this place. Since mom can't walk too much because of me, mom and dad contented themselves sitting on a bench near the grasses, and enjoyed the fantastic scenery, while their friends walked around this big nature park.

Picnic_grove I had a nice time today, mom and dad!

29 Nov 2007 Tagaytay!!!

Copy_of_tagaytay_8_1My first time in tagaytay!! Mom and dad brought me along to this windy city, in preparation for Tito Marvs and Tita Lei's wedding tomorrow. Tita Leah was my parents' maid of honor when they had their wedding last June. This time, Mom would be a bridesmaid for her. Isn't that cool?

The travel was a bit bumpy so I tried my best to hold on securely inside mommy's tummy. It took us five hours to reach Tagaytay City, coming from Antipolo City. Whew! That's from one mountain to the other!!

Mom and dad checked in Alfonso Hotel, just a few minutes from Calaruega Church, where the wedding will be held. The room was spacious and the bed was big enough for the three of us :) My parents treated me out on a Mongolian buffet for dinner - quite expensive, but the taste was worth it. The hotel staff were all polite.

We all slept early after that very tiring trip. Zzzzzz....
